Visited here for dinner with husband on a Saturday night,we had pre booked a table and had drinks at the bar whilst waiting.The staff here are friendly, the venue lively and close to town, food was very good and service great.

This is the 4th time I have been to WaterLily. Yet again the night was fantastic. The whole Bollywood experience was amazing. The food..... beautiful! Although the place was packed, we didnât have to wait long at all for our orders. Molly and Hasan make everyone feel so very welcome from beginning to end. Thank you for an amazing evening and beautiful food x

I took my wife to Sandy Pate for Sunday lunch after reading the reviews on here. i called and booked a table so that we didn't miss out. we got there just before 2 pm and were seated straight away. the staff were very efficient and we had our drinks within minutes. the food was fantastic. probably one of the best Sunday dinners we have had out. there was plenty on the plate and a very good selection on vegetables. we had a wobbly table which made cutting the food a bit of a trial, that being said, they did offer to move us to another table. If i had one gripe, it would be that instead of having the sound on the TV's for the football they had capital FM on! come on people, its a sports bar!!! On the whole, it was a very nice experience and we cant wait to go back and try some other things on the menu.

After visiting family in Clay Cross and reading the good reviews we decided to try this place. As we were not sure what time we could go we did not book. To be fair they found us a table within the bar area as they were fully booked even at around 5pm when we arrived. Our order was taken quite quickly but after 20 mins we were asked to move as we had been given a reserved table. There was also three guys in the bar area using constant bad language and shouting even though there was children but none of the staff asked them to stop.The food arrived after 30 mins and for the price we paid was excellent and great value. Once we had finished, our plates were not taken away and we had to ask to pay the bill and the lady never bothered to come back with a card machine.in the end we had to go to the bar to pay. Overall great food but let down by the staff on this occasion.Weâre sorry to hear the couple of issues you had on your visit. We do ask the bar staff to advise customers about language and so we will make sure we remind them if this!
