Two American friends - passing through town - wanted to know the best place to eat Indian food.I travelled clear acrosss London to take them here. It was well worth it. The service - by the charming, ever-so-efficient FRANCO - was terrific; the atmosphere buzzy and friendly; the comfort levels and facilties are first rate. But it's the food that's the star. Succulent chicken, prawn and meat specialities that melt in the mouth. Try their special poppadom starters with unusual dips too. US - and UK - were impressed!! Unlimited freshly cooked chicken/beef/pork/lamb comes to your table straight from the kitchen until you say stop! All accompanied by a salad bar. Very nice place to eat and reasonably priced. Also have a wide choice of cider/beer/spirit/wine.

Letâs be honest. It is rare to get good food in an airport so expectations are generally low. It had been a while since visiting Plane Food... for good reason. Wagamama had a queue I couldnât be bothered with. I now know to go hungry. Caesar salad was just about passable however the curry was a lesson in blandness. Iâm not sure how Jamie managed this masterpiece. I am convinced itâs frozen chicken microwaved, a-la Asda microwave curries. It wasnât awful, or even bad,just very underwhelming. To add injury to insult I got the bill, after a 10min wait and had no time to question the optional 4 pounds service charge. A lost customer.
