White/blue cote a los, entrecote, steak, dry aged cote a los, limousin, aubrac, Aberdeen angus and Many more meat specialities
Tiny little restaurant close to the central market place in Sint-Truiden where meat is king. Friendly service and proper no-frills cooking. Mise-en-bouche was offered (small classic style brocoli cream soup based on home-made stock). Excellent quality meat - would be hard to find better quality. We had the 400 grams Belgian 'white/blue' steak which was superbly cooked and seasoned - was so tender and tasteful one could have even enjoyed just the steak without fries and home-made Bearnaise sauce! Expensive but highly recommended. Limited but more than sufficient wine list.

Friendly service. We ordered the Tomahawk and asked for a matching wine. The proposed bottle was excellent - just like the meat. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be coming back again.Thank you !! Grtz

Staying in the small village of Montenaken while watching the Spa grand prix. We asked the owner of our apartment where to go for a meal. He recommended Sint Truiden. 15 min drive we arrived to find a busy square full of restaurants and bars. Were people were enjoying the evening. We walked around and came across La Tasse. Looked nice and sat at a table. Being from England we were a little worried about getting served and ordering food. The waiter/owner soon put us at rest explaining his brother lives in Brighten and had a bit of banter witg us.My sister and myself went for spaghetti balognase with a side order of frites. My nephew ordered burger and chips. After a round of drinks the food soon arrived. Our spaghetti balognase was delicious, actually quite spicy. My nephew soon polished of the burger and chips and after another round of drinks we were full to the brim. Bill was very good aswell. So you can see why all the bars and restaurants were full. Maybe we can take a leave from Belguim's book. Also we noticed that people were actually talking to each other. Not like on in England where most couples or groups are silent with their heads buried in their phones or tablets. If we return for next year's Grand prix we will definetly return to La Tasse for more Spag bowl and frites.Thank you and goodbye to you

If you want something different and you're open for discovering something new, Cabrizze is the place to be. Take a look at the suggestions, and don't be afraid to order something you've never heard off. Tip: the tapas are also a very good choice.
