This Bavarian restaurant was a pleasant find in Puchheim, a quiet village on the western edge of Munich. The menus were only in German, but Holger, the owner, was friendly and accommodating. He and his wife speak excellent English and were able to answer all of our questions and recommend selections according to our tastes. The food was well-prepared and everything was fresh. Local beers and deserts completed the offerings.What a great compliment - thanks a lot at all! We enjoyed reading your rating very well.It was very pleasant to serve you at our restaurant individually and we are looking forward to accomodate you soon! heartfelt greetings to all of you by our Team!

We wanted a break from all the delicious schnitzel, bratwurst and the like and decided to go Greek. So glad we found this restaurant...a little out of the way but definitely worth it. The food was delicious, very tasty and fresh. They have a great patio, although we dined inside as it was quite chilly the day. The staff are wonderful as well, very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I am Indian and i look for authentic Indian food and this restaurant fulfills my desire every time. I feel like back in India :) Very delicious foods and traditional drinks :) Apart from the food what i like the most is the behavior of the staffs here. They are really friendly. It matters the most because at the end of the day you want to have a feel good factor. Thumbs up to Shiv Restaurant:) I will visit again and would recommend everyone to visit once atleast and i am sure you will come again for sure ;)

Had a great lunch stop at Gaststätte Geisenbrunn. We were a larger group (9 people) in cycling gear and we were made very welcome in the beer garden. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was excellent.
