The Coach and horses is a really cosy old inn. The staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and warm. The food was really good and JOY they had an excellent vegetarian and vegan menu. Brilliant.Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We visited the Miners Arm on holiday . They had a fantastic range of beer and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They have got a great value menu for kids and were really flexible to adapt the menu too. We went on curry night, and they offered a great deal on a curry and beer (£10!) The curries were a bit tame and it would be good to see some spicy ones on offer. They did a fantastic burgers too . If your staying at the nearby Whitemead Forest Park you can walk through the Forest to the pub. Perfect excuse to leave the car at home. Thank you for leaving such a positive review Joy, we're really pleased you enjoyed your visit. I've forwarded your helpful constructive comments about the curry to the kitchen team and provided them with some scotch bonnet chilli's so they'll make an appearance in one of the curry's on Wednesday this week. Hope you come back and see us next time you stay at Whitemead - as you say it's only a walk through the forest away.
