Fab find and wish they had one of these in Hertfordshire. If you donât mind getting your hands dirty and your food being served on a tray then you HAVE to eat here. The food is scrumptious and they have a great choice on the menu. The staff are mega friendly and we have to give a huge thanks to Bex and Billie for looking after us on our first visit here. If we are ever back in Kings Lynn we will return for sure. If the only request is please get some sparkling water on your drinks menu then we would say you are AWESOME.

We visit every few months and always enjoy the experience. This time we went for lunch with a group of friends. I had carrot and coriander soup which was very tasty. Others had whitebait which was nicely presented. I, and a number of others, had cod Mornay on rosti potatoes - very good and accompanied with a good variety of vegetables. I didnât have a dessert but those who did enjoyed them. The service was of a reasonable standard, particularly considering the students were only in their first year. Well worth a visit, both as an enjoyable experience and to support the students.Thank you for your kind comments the students will look forward to seeing you in the restaurant again very soon.

We visited with our teenage son and 3 younger children. The food here is excellent, especially the meat dishes. I had lamb, which was really delicious and cooked to perfection by Paul. I chose green veg to accompany it, which was tender and fresh. My husband and son both had rare steaks, again perfectly cooked as requested. The kids ate for £1 each, due to a special offer on childrens' meals, and their meals were also fresh, tasty and top quality. There was a good range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We were served by Jess, who was polite and helpful and also by Chris. There was a slight delay in the food arriving, but just as we were getting a bit restless he proactively came over to apologise, explain, and tell us that our food was almost ready, which it was. The main course was so good that we decided to stay for pudding, made by Kylie. There were good value options on the kids' menu and their brownies looked yummy. Creme brulee and sticky toffee pud were a treat and we left feeling full! It was great value for money as a family and we left feeling well cared for.

Me and my partner came here for my birthday in July (late review as been away) there was only a total of 7 customers in the whole restaurant and two lady staff. When we first entered the restaurant one memeber if staff was speaking to another lady who also worked there but wasnât working at the time. The other lady serving a gentleman, with that the ladyâs had finished doing what they was doing and decided to chat between themselves. In which case the lady chef came out and served us as saw we had been waiting at the bar a while. Finally seated and ordered our food, we saw a lady at the table send her food back, thought nothing of it as not everything is to everyoneâs taste. Our food came and with the other times Iâve been and how quiet it was I thought it would be on par as always, I was wrong. My partners chicken was like rock, my scampi soggy and watery and my steak just mostly being fat in which case put me off of my food. No one came to check if everything was okay again as the staff spoke between themselves. The deserts however were amazing. Went to pay and the gentleman infront of us was also commenting on the quality of the food, says he has to travel past regularly and stops here frequently but that his food was awful, veg was all mushy and watering and the meat was dry and hard, when mentioning this to the member of staff she just said sorry. Yes a sorry is a start, but the customer still wasnât impressed and carried on speaking about how unhappy he was and nothing was done, asked to speak to a manager and they said she wasnât there. So out of the 7 customers 4 of us made complaints about the food with just an apology, itâs not us asking for refunds or free drinks/food, itâs just purely commenting about the lack of customer service and quality of food you pay for which people are unhappy about. Working in myself I understand nothing is perfect and things go wrong, but there was no excuse with it being how quiet it was and there being more than enough staff. Unfortunately this has put me and my partner off of coming back to the restaurant and hopefully with this feedback can help you for future customers and your levels of service.
