I was there tonight with a friend, we had section mezza & chicken escalope. the food was tasty, the restaurant is clean and the service was very good. The price was reasonable comparing with other lebanese restaurants in Town. The only negative point I have is the over brightness of the venue.

I loved this place and was so pleased by local friends took me there. It was the best place so far in Erbil, with authentic Persian fare in a pleasant interior.The locale is pretty banale but you can escape that indoors and linger. The waiters were helpful and not intrusive and sampling the dishes ordered by my friends was enlightening: there were dishes I had not come acrossWe highly appreciate your effort to give us a lovely review. I went today with a friend, we had a beer, the place was fairly empty, we sat on the bar and there was two other sitting on the bar and one full table, the rest was all empty. There was absolutely zero Greek food on their menu, the name Taverna is very deceiving. A pint of beer is $8 and you still pay 10% service charge despite you are sitting at the bar. More expensive drink than any other similar bar in town. We didn't eat but I had a look at the menu, the most expensive one in town, much more expensive than restaurants in 5 stars hotels. A steak is priced at $50! Just so that you have the idea this is the equivalent of 6 Kilo beef bought from a top quality butcher in town. You pay $30 for a Steak in other top restaurants in Erbil. This place is not even worth the try.
