Vkusoteria

The meaning of the name is coming from "vkus" in bulgarian which means "taste". "Vkusoteria" is like "Tastyteria".Realizing this place, took me a long time, lots of patience and consistency. It's open since 2016.It is a small Coffee Shop-Restaurant,located i

We had some really good coffee and burgers at Vkusoteria. The ambience is very nice with some pleasant background music. Although it is on a self-service principle, the bartender was very helpful and positive. Overall, we found it perfect for a weekend breakfast! Took a smoothie to-go - also highly recommended =)

Mehana “Tihiya Kut” (Quiet Corner Tavern) has been open for tourists and Tarnovo locals for 50 years now. Generations come and go, but the painted murals on the walls transcend time in the memories of the visitors of this landmark Veliko Tarnovo restauran

We found it by accident, but it was worth it... We weren't very hungry, so what we ate were supplementary to our drinks, Bulgarian beer and wine... But we did try tarator soup and kebabs... Both quite tasty... We loved the atmosphere and the vibe of this place.. The decoration was reminders of another era... The host was friendly and didn't mind answer our questions about the area... I would recommend it... Thank you and welcome again :-)

Restaurant Balkan Grill Veliko Tarnovo

Good location, great waiter with a willingness to please! Toilets must be kept cleaner to compete with other restaurants in the neighbourhood and the quality of the pork kebabche and kofta was not the best for a grill restaurant, although the Serbian sausages were good. Price was good and represented value. Take on board these comments and it will be a good restaurant / afternoon place to hang out with a beer on the terrace!

We had many visits here, the latest one for lunch last weekend. There’s a lot of space to seat, mostly outside, which is where I recommend staying since smoking is so pervasive around here. The menu is vast, with the usual selection of salads and grilled dishes. We went for the Snejanka and Apetitna salads with Pileshka Iznenada as shared main. Friendly, smiling service, our food came quickly. The salads were good, with a touch of creative decoration. Fresh vegetables, although not the best ones I had in Bulgaria. Our main was an attractively looking, boat-formed clay dish with a variety of chicken meats inside, covered and baked with cheese. A bit fatty and not for someone who wouldn’t eat any odd parts of a chicken (think hearts and other organs), but generally tasty.Weekend evenings feature live singing of popular Bulgarian classics, and we witnessed one of those. Bearable, if a tad too loud for us to comfortably have a conversation.
