Amavi is a fine dining restaurant in Goa that combines exquisite food with incredible architecture for the best dining experience
We heard about this restaurant from a family friend and decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. We were greeted immediately and shown to our table. The staff were very attentive. I ordered Beef Wellington and my husband a pork chop. An apperitive was brought to our table. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive but was worth waiting for. The presentation was perfect and the taste was just what I had hoped for.For desert I chose Pavlova.Thank you Gwen for your wonderful review. We are glad you enjoyed the meal and service and had a memorable experience at Amavi. We look forward to welcome you back to Amavi on your next visit. We would also like to thank your family friend who recommended Amavi to you.

We took a tuk tuk from Santana to Over The Flames. I'd actually spoken to one of the waiters during the day time, liked the look of the restaurant and returned in the evening. The food was very good so were the drinks. The only criticism is that the restaurant doesn't have some of the traditional starters, ie Golden Fried Prawns/Calamaries. Unfortunately I missed the Tuesday night sitar player but we are returning to Goa in November and will be sure to visit Over the Flames again.
