El Greco is a simple yet nice option. Their Greek menu is limited (meat oriented) but true & tasteful at a valuable price. The hosts make it a point to entertain their guests, while it may not please everybody, they do it in a genuine (from the heart) manner. Their location is by the river and their outside terrace is a pleasant location. I had a great lunch and would return gladly.

This restaurant is located near a large parking lot at the center of Schleiden, so after a long car ride (and a drive ahead) it was fine to pause with a small snack. The restaurant met the requirements.

We were looking for a filling meal near Bergbuir, but it being a village it lacked options. A quick online search of area restaurants brought up this place and it being only 6 km away it was perfect. Upon our arrival we were seated outside, and welcomed with a complimentary drink. Order was taken in German and the owner serving us also spoke english. they took the time to guide us through the menu helping us with our choices despite being busy....Food was absolutely amazing! Free salad bar, free welcome drink and free ice cream (which was lovely) at the end. ...the food was some of the best authentic greek we've had. thank you. oh, and the place is stylish and well run.

El Greco is a simple option at a competitive price. The menu is simple and Greek oriented (meat mostly) yet what they served was good and prices were very reasonable. The hosts try to entertain their guest, and while it may not appeal to all customers, they do it true from the hart. The place is near the river and their terrace is a great setting to enjoy an outside lunch. I had a great lunch and will go back in future.
