After enjoying our experience last year, we stopped in again this trip; and once again, really enjoyed the meal. A restored old-school train station; the facility is clean and well-maintained, with a European holiday ambiance. We came for a late lunch/early dinner, so seating was readily available. Our server, Stevi, was friendly and attentive (though, as it was last year, the service pace is quite leisurely....certainly not for those seeking a "quick bite").We had the alpine burger, and the pork schnitzel with spatzle; both were excellent (my spouse saying it was some of the best spatzle she has had, since her college year in Germany). And, oh my, there was the Vienna apple streudel. Trying, once again, to be good; we ordered one to share. After about 2 bites in however, as happened last year, we ordered another. (One needs to be aware, that being made-to-order, it takes awhile for each piece to arrive at the table....the moral being, just order extra at the onset). We once again had a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience; and will most likely return here on our next visit to the area.

There's something special about coming to Bavarian Inn Restaurant to enjoy a home-cooked meal. Since 1888, more than 20 million guests have returned to feast on our world-famous ?all-you-can-eat? family-style dinners.
We ate here in spring of 2019 and we were let down. It just didnât taste up to their standards, I let management know and they gave me a $40 gift card to come back and give them another chance. We came back and everything was great. Our server was wonderful. The chicken was great. We had family style and everything along with the chicken was very good. Bavarian Inn you got it right this time and I recommend anyone that gave them bad reviews to give them another chance.Your recommendation is very much appreciated. We're happy to hear that your return visit was the wonderful time that you expect to have when at Bavarian Inn Restaurant!

Hospitality abounds with traditional family style chicken dinners and tantalizing breads and pastries in the world-famous Zehnder's of Frankenmuth restaurant.
We were excited to try this Famous Restaurant. We went at lunch time hoping for a light lunch, and quickly realized there was nothing âlightâ about this restaurant. There is no lunch menu and the dinner entrees were hearty and filling. I opted for the Chicken Parmesan Schnitzel. I was intrigued to try the German version of Chicken Parmesan. It was very good with homemade noodles. My daughter got the hot chicken and mashed potatoes and she really enjoyed those too. There were many other things brought to the table before the main course like bread and various spreads, relishes and soup. The prices for the kids menu were very reasonable but I felt the adult entrees were a bit overpriced. The highlight of this restaurant is the bakery underneath! Holy Cinnamon Rolls! Buy as much as you can! You wonât be disappointed!Hello,Thank you for the great review! We are glad that you enjoyed your visit! Just so you know, we do offer a luncheon menu that has a vast array of lighter options and smaller portion meals if you aren't feeling quite as much food as that of what our Dinner menu has to offer. We hope to see you back again soon and hope that you have a wonderful day! Best,Cody GibsonGuest Relations ManagerZehnder's of Frankenmuth
