Lovely setting on top of the hill with great views!!! The restaurant is accessible for everyone, and you can easily get a wheelchair in. The staff are very friendly and very efficient!! Now the important bit!!! The Sunday roast was exceptional...we had 2xpork, 2xlamb and 1xbeef. You can choose the size of your lunch...regular (which is large) and small (which is ideal for most)!! The food was absolutely delicious....and was delivered to our table not long after our order. All in all, a great experience!!

Along with some friends we stayed at the apartments in the Egypt Mill complex. From the moment we arrived to when we left after a delicious breakfast, we could not fault a thing. Staff were so friendly. Apartment was stunning. Surroundings were beautiful. Can not recommend highly enough. Go. Stay. Enjoy.

I recently enjoyed a two night stay in the cottage apartment at the Star. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The bar was excellent with a terrific beer selection. The restaurant menu featured a large selection of tasty options. There were three people in my party, including two young men in their 20âs. We didnât eat the same meal twice and we were completely satisfied with every meal. Ken (the landlord) and his staff were welcoming and very helpful. I look forward to staying at the Star again.

A beautiful cotswold pub, with incredible views across the Nailsworth Valley. Great selection of drinks and a locally sourced freshly produced menu.
Met up with friends for a mid-week meal here and it was good to see it so busy. We were served by the owner/manager, who was delightful - friendly and helpful. Food took a while to be served but was hot and tasty. My only disappointment was the limited range of ice creams available for dessert. I can have choc, strawberry or vanilla at home, why not serve something a bit more imaginative. Or just give me a vat of salter caramel
