What a great find for Easter brunch. We went early and had an assortment of appetizers. Everything was good. The kids played pool, while we waited for food. After brunch the bowling lanes were reserved for us. Great time, good for kids, adults and everyone.

I wanted so much to like this place after hearing so many rave reviews! I love love French cuisine so I was excited to find a French restaurant that could be a standard for me since they are far and few in Miami. I went for lunch with my boyfriend during my search for crepes in which I was excited to try theirs since I had heard they serve the traditional buckwheat batter for their savory crepes which I haven't been able to find anywhere else outside Montreal. Walking in we were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and decor of the restaurant which felt very homey and uniquely French. For our meal, I ordered the Complete Galette (crepe) $10: french ham, cantalet cheese, and a sunny side up egg. My boyfriend ordered the Saumon Fume Galette $12: smoked salmon, creme fraiche, dill, and capers. We also ordered a side of their potatoes cooked in duck fat to share. The crepes were just terrible and not at all what I thought they would be. Extremely dry and very very salty. There was nothing stunning about my crepe, but the smoked salmon crepe was so salty that it was literally inedible so my boyfriend ended up sharing mine which we ended up eating just because we were starving. I think the smoked salmon was in itself very salty paired with the salty crepe then they also sprinkled a salt blend on top that was over kill. The creme fraiche was essentially nonexistent which is a shame since maybe that could have brought better balance to the dish. It was a sad moment since I had such high expectations, but it was really that salty where our mouths for the rest of the day were affected. The one highlight of the meal were the rosemary potatoes cooked in duck fat which were delicious, but even then I felt I could probably create the same thing at home given the ingredients. I'm not sure what happened that day, and even our server was lovely about it, apologizing though she admitted she had never tried the crepes herself. May try to give them another chance in the far future and hope that what we ordered was just a miss on their menu!
