Walking in the pedestrian area of old Bucharest, every restaurant is probably a tourist trap. For some reason I choose this Bazaar, and, as it was a lovely end-of -summer day, I sat outdoors in the street. I did not expect much, apart from quenching my hunger and thirst. I was, however, pleasantly surprised. I had a good and kind service, in perfect English, a very decent bill, and a surprisingly good meal. I choose "baby calamari a la Lisbon". The description was "baby calamari with sichuan pepper, bay leaf, peperoncino, extra vergin olive oil, French fries, a secret from Heston Blumenthal". Whether he was the creator or not, I will never know: but it was fantastic.

We we for dinner a couple of nights ago. I liked that is was outside of old town. There was plenty of outside seating as well as inside. The food was amazing, but the drinks even more so. They had a selection of gin and tonics that I had never seen before, and the beer cocktails were AMAZING. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful in recommendations. We enjoyed our entire experience eating here.
