Came here randomly for lunch as I was on a lunch break from working out in Huntington Beach. I really loved the name of the place. At first it was a little hard to tell if they were open or not, but Trip Advisor said they were, so I went in and was so suprised to see the place packed! That's always a good sign. I just had the Kale salad, which was amazing. I'm not ususally into salads too much (especially Kale), but my waiter told me it was one of his favorites so I gave it a try. Yum Yum! It was very good & I was very impressed! So 2 thumbs up for Black Trumpet!!

We sat outside (next to a heat lamp which was awesome) and very much enjoyed drinks and dinner here. Our server was really friendly and we had the guacamole appetizer to start. We enjoyed our main entrees (pad Thai and the veggie curry) and our cocktails were delicious and unique. This restaurant is in the chic Kimpton Hotel in Huntington Beach and it was easy and inexpensive to park in the garage next to the hotel and open air mall.What's up Emily T! Good vibe but getting a drink is a painfully slow experience and the bar staff donât have great customer service! Think the day time session is better than the evening. DJ was great, just shake up the bar staff please

Great vegan restaurant offering animal free alternatives made with faux plant based "shrimp" or "chicken." Fresh & tasty ingredients in a zen atmosphere with friendly service. They even had a vegan cheesecake for dessert, which tasted more like a flourless chocolate torte to me.
