Day 1 - I cannot explain my delightment of having macher jhol with steamed rice after having local cantonese food in macau and Hong kong for last 5 days. The macher jhol was prepared typically in bong style and i wud recommend all bongs visiting Guangzhou to must taste the cauliflower added macher jhol. As a Mumbaikar the goan fish curry is also available in their menu. Day 2 - Tandoor chicken, ice cube chicken tikka, masala papad, butter chicken and tandoori roti- taste was very good.Recommend all Non Veg Indians to visit this place. Dear Mr Sudipr2015We thank you for your kind review on Ice Cube Indian Bar & Grill and we are absolutely delighted to hear about your wonderful dining experience. We went to Ricci Creative Eats with high expectations based on Trip Advisor and magazine reviews. And, when we reviewed the menu, we couldn't even decide what we wanted to eat, as there were so many tempting options. But, our awe of this place ended once we placed our order. My husband and daughter ordered the ribs - the server indicated these would take about 30 minutes. We decided to wait for it. I ordered the eggplant dip, with falafel and calamari while my son had fries and chicken tenders. The first issue - our food took came out in shifts, which we have come to expect in China. The ribs took every bit of 45 minutes. Obviously, having planned for 30, this put us in a bind. But, the crazy thing is that it wasn't the last item to show up. The calamari took a full 50 minutes to arrive. No apologies from staff, no acknowledgement, they just brushed us off, saying 'it's coming". Unfortunately, once all the food did arrive, it was definitely not worth the wait. The ribs were not "fall off the bone", which is what you would expect for the time allocated. The chicken tenders were not breast meat, but rather bits and pieces of odd meat - what you would expect at a fast food restaurant. And, the falafel was extremely dry. The eggplant dip, calamari and fried were good, but didn't make up for the long wait, denial of poor service by the staff and sub-part food. We really wanted to like this place, but it just didn't live up.
