Things to do in Claremont

Restaurant Hyun Claremont is the home of modern Korean French fusion in Perth. This unlikely pairing works so well, in fact, that foodies are flocking to Stirling Highway from all around Perth to get in on the action. Offering dinner from Tuesday to Sunda
Accompanied friends to Hyun for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Interesting selection of entrees of which we ordered 4 kinds to share, all of which were absolutely delicious. Their use of pickles, sauces and spices is outstanding. The duck I selected for main course was cooked to a delicate pink with a flavorsome skin, was very tender and accompanied by a delicate selection of kimchi and Ssas lettuce. Specials available Tues-Thurs with BYO available also on those nights. Reasonably priced and punches above itsâ weight.

Fully licensed restaurant serving local beer, wine, cider and coffee. Using our woodfire oven and the open flames to create simple and honest food, allowing the produce speak for itself. Sourcing only quality, seasonal produce while supporting WA growers
Manuka Woodfire Kitchen is clearly doing very well, appearing fully booked at the second (7.30pm) dinner sitting on a Tuesday evening. The food was generally very good and our group of nine shared plates of many different dishes from prawns to salads and pizzas. My only complaint would have been a heavy hand on the salt in a couple of dishes and serving the aged fetta, honeycomb and macadamia dish mid-way through, rather than at the end, when it was clearly sweet and more of a dessert.Booking ahead is strongly recommended and service is quick and efficient.
