Find out what French restaurants to try in Willemstad. The lively capital of Curacao is a welcoming, upbeat destination with two distinct historic districts divided by the lovely St. Anna Bay. Punda, site of neat, narrow streets, is crammed with shops and museums. Otrobanda, or "The Other Side," is a maze of twisting residential streets, contrasting with the organized grid across the bay. Willemstad's colorful colonial architecture has won it UNESCO Heritage site designations. Diving and swimming with dolphins are popular activities in the bay.

Our favorite restaurant on Curaçao because it is simply the best for fine dining! Elegant ambience, white linen, silverware, properly set tables, original artworks, and fresh cut flowers. Family operated for 30+ years by Nico, a Master Rotisseur of the Chaine de Rotisseurs, and now his three sons and a staff of professional servers who have been with them for years; you will meet them all as they provide their impeccable service. Superb classical French cooking...not the latest trend of the month...good solid time-proven recipes, prepared deliciously using the finest available ingredients. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed.

Authentic French cuisine with a twist, personal attention in a lovely French atmosphere. Enjoy our romantic sea view balcony or dine with street view. Our authentic pink building is located in the heart of the booming Pietermaai area. Join us for lunch, a
Traditional creole cuisin with french influences on a high standard. Again a convincing experience. The châteaubriand is now served with a fresh handmade sauce bernaise. The Lobster is offered in two extremly tasty variations: With seafruits in tomatosauce (for the european guests) and with mozzarella (for the american guests). In the tomato version you could omit the mussels without causing harm to the meal. But that is a minimal point of critics.Only the desserts reveals the dutch influence: They are much too sweet after the spoiling meal and could dull the pleasure of sensitive haute cuisiniers.

Visiting Curaçao on a business trip and my employers local office took my gear for lunch. The atmosphere was very nice and the ambiance was relaxed and casual. The menus were in Dutch (which I canât speak) but my associates translated for me, shortly after the waitress told us that she could translate for me if need be which was a nice gesture.I ordered the beef and truffle pasta which was awesome. It had a lot of flavor and was seasoned very well. I had some of my coworkersâ fries along with a peanut sauce which were very yummy as well. All in all I would recommend this place. I wish I had went there at the beginning of my work trip instead of at the end. Hi Lee,Thanks for your positive review. Good to hear that you enjoyed the ambiance and our food. We hope to see you again at your next trip to Curacao!Kind regards, Team De Heeren
