This is my seventh visit to Benidorm and also my seventh visit to The Vagabond. This time I was here with my partner Joanne and we visited Fred and Marie twice something we do not normally do but the first visit was so enjoyable we couldn't wait to next year to return. Fred is a great chef and Marie is so charming and they make a great team. The set 3 course meal is good value at 19Euros but on our second visit I went for the a la carte Entrecote Steak that just melted in the mouth. Highly Recommend this stand out restaurant but best to book in advance.

Always visit when staying with my brother who lives nearby. I enjoyed the small portion of the goats cheese starter, which came with lovely fresh salad and was a good size for me. Followed by mussels and frites. The 2nd visit I had scallops and a really delicious chicken with Camembert sauce - very rich but oh so delicious. The owners offer of his homemade rum punch is a nice finisher. Service and food are great, never feel rushed. Would recommend booking.

Arrived quite late from UK , found this brilliant french restaurant just round the corner , from our apartment, the food was excellent, I like sauces and presentation and that is what they do so well . Service was excellent everyone knew what they were doing very professional, explaining food to us , you could see they loved what they were doing which is lovely. Went again at the weekend very busy same quality as before loved it . Both food and service are really great. You should definitely have a walk all along the beach from the old town to enjoy it. A nice bonus in addition - given the place is not in the very centre, it is not overcrowded and so you have a chance to have an awesome dinner without booking in advance.Thank you very much, Olga
