Things to do in Santa Clara
Comfort food with a European flair. Sweet and Savory Crepes, Sandwiches, Pasta, Desserts. Brunch, Lunch and Dinner. Locally owned and operated.
Located in old frontera taco location. The refitting to a french style eatery was done with very good taste. We were impressed when we walked in and they continued to impress us. Wife has smaller appetite and was able to order a half stuffed crepe with avocado, tomato, turkey, bacon and lettuce in it. You have a choice of home-made carrot salad or potato chips. Wife loves carrot salad and ordered it. I don't so I ordered chips (and they were delicious) to go with my crepe that had chicken, mushrooms and onions in it. Mine also had some hollandaise that was actually home-made instead of coming from Sysco restaurant supply like other restaurants serve. The crepes here have less flour and more egg than the other creperie's and more resemble Swedish pancakes that my wife prepares for me occasionally. We each had a home-made eclair for desert and it was fully stuffed with the cream and covered in dark chocolate. Best eclair we have had in years. They also serve a few different sandwiches which sounded great and I saw the best looking slice of chocolate cake on the way out. The bill for 1 1/2 lunch crepes and 2 eclairs was a tad over $25 or with the excellent service tip $30 for 2 people. A little higher than many places but not many leave you feeling so satisfied as you leave. Worth the drive across town and we will do it often.
