We ordinarily avoid restaurants on Mother's Day due to the crowds, sometimes poor and slow service. But we were traveling so chose this one from a AAA tour guide book and loved it. Relaxed, delicious food, pretty setting. Thanks, Chalet Basque!

Very bright clean location-- friendly staff-- good serviceThe salads and the onion tart were very goodMy scallops and shrimp were just so so. My wife's duck legwas not prepared properly-parts under cooked. Both lacked "flavor"The bread seemed dry and lacked flavor. The wines were fair to goodI think that there are better restaurants for the price

Left Bank is an authentic Parisian-style brasserie located in the historic Blue Rock Inn in charming downtown Larkspur. Built in 1895 during the railroad era, The Blue Rock Inn was a popular weekend destination for San Franciscans to come dance and picnic
We had a wonderful lunch at Left Bank. Service was excellent. We were seated at a table near a window with some sun. Each dish we had was prepared better than the next. Recommend highly. Parking across the street makes it easy

Casual french restaurant, kids friendly (kid menu available).
We stopped by unplanned for dinner. The live music was a real plus. We shared a lamb burger and asparagus soup. The burger was quite good. The asparagus puree soup was like velvet.... mouth-melting. We'd planned on enjoying an apple tart for dessert but, after filling ourselves first with the yummy French baguette and fabulous butter, there was no room left. It was a bit chilly outside, but I would definitely return. Sounded like a reclamation project on the part of the city might eliminate the restaurant. I hope not!
