We ate at Omai a couple of different times during our multi-day stay on Huahine. Each time the service was amazingly friendly, polite, attentive, prompt and impressively multi-lingual!If you go for lunch, you have to try either the Mahi Mahi Cesar Salad (the fish was so flavorful and tasty!), or the shrimp salad with fruit (incredibly refreshing!).If you're there for dinner, try the roast duck with honey sauce. The duck was cooked perfectly; the fat was rendered down nicely, the meat itself was very tender; the potatoes were also tasty! The chicken breast stuffed with chicken was also enjoyable.

We only went to the restaurant and enjoyed the beach, the setting is stunning with amazing snorkeling spots. The restaurant was delicious with a great variety of choices, we both went for the raw fish as we are on a tropical island at the end of the day. And to top it off, the deserts were yummy. The restaurant could do with a bit more staff.

This outdoor cafe overlooking the main street of Faire and eventually the Pacific, was a great place for breakfast or lunch (we had both there). The breakfast omelettes are really very good as is the expresso. Like someone else noted, it is a good place to meet other travellers from all over the world, especially young ones!

Totally mellow little restaurant, just up the road from the Maitai Lapita Village Hotel. Clearly popular with locals and families, which is always a good sign. We had a delicious, fresh-caught parrot fish for dinner, and crazy flavorful mango sorbet for dessert. A perfect end to another great day in Huahine.
