This is a good pizza and kebab place and the prices are very reasonable. The Turkish guys sometimes mix up the orders a bit, though. The restaurant is pretty small with uncomfortable chairs (if you are not small or skinny, beware!), but they also have take out and delivery. There's also some salads on the menu.

This grill restaurant is located a few steps outside Valkeakoski city centre, but I think it's worth visiting. They serve tasty, genuine grill food with reasonable price. You can choose for example hamburgers, steaks, kebab, meatballs, wings, chicken and salads. Portions are big, and children can choose from their own little menu. They also serve beer and cider. Service is friendly and fast.

Hesburger is a Finnish fast food chain, which basically offers different kinds of hamburgers and salads. Customer service is very basic, you order the food from the counter and that's it. The hamburgers and fries are okay, not the best, but at least it's better than starving ;) The prices are bit high, a meal with cheeseburger, small fries and a drink costs about 5,50 euros.
