Just discovered this place--a bit hidden off of 120th. Well worth the trip. They have a very extensive menu--hard to choose. The falafel and gyro salad was excellent, as was the tuna sub. Everything is freshly made. The owner and his wife are very pleasant people, and very accommodating. We will be back again.

We stopped here for Sunday lunch just as it opened at Noon. Tocabe takes a Mexican fast-food approach to serving, with servers at the counter filling your plate with your choices from the assembled options. My wife and I both had the Indian Taco Plate with braised shredded bison, black beans, osage hominy, lettuce, cheese, mild tomato salsa and seed mix. Both the individual flavours and the overall combination of tastes were divine. The ingredients were fresh and high quality, and the cooking superb. I don't know how close this food is to what American Indians traditionally ate on the Colorado mountains and plains, but it is truly delicious. Not to be missed if you're in Denver.

I was hesitant to give this spot a try after reading some of the reviews. I'm glad I did. I would give it 4.5. The burger is thin, but so are freddy's and other popular trendy places. This is not a trendy place. It is old school, with the neon to prove it. While old, it was reasonably clean, 50's music playing and the staff was fairly friendly.
