A new little 'hidden' gem! Stopped to check out the desserts. Smelled so good in there! And very friendly staff! I purchased one blueberry bread pudding & one cherry, to go. Made with donuts! Each packed very nicely in a bag complete with whipping cream & sugary butter. Nice selection of coffee - I enjoyed a cup that had a touch of cinnamon flavor. Shared the blueberry pudding (big portion) one evening with my husband and the cherry the next night - kept fine in the fridge. Both were delicious!! Will have to try the homemade soup & lunch special one day soon. (Took pictures after I shared!)Thank you 'danidb518'...glad you were able to try both the blueberry and cherry bread pudding with homemade whipped cream and vanilla buttercream. I stopped in on a Monday afternoon to have a barbecue sandwich. I asked the server, who was quite friendly, how fresh the brisket was. She said it was from the weekend. I ordered a chopped brisket sandwich with fries. I received a good portion of chopped brisket on a hamburger sized bun.I was quite disappointed that the brisket, although tender, was soaked in sauce. Sauce should be an option as most Texas barbecue is not sauced. It is a good way to hide the quality of the meat. Also, every other bbq place that I have eaten at, and I have eaten at very many all across the country, has onion and pickles on the side. Not here. The fries were standard frozen fries which were ok. I will not be returning for a second try as I feel that the product was not worth the price.

Wife and I dined in for a chicken lunch. There wasn't anything about our meal which would cause me to recommend. We were in the area for over 6 months and dined at two other chain chicken restaurants, basically the same meals, and we liked their food better.
