I have heard many refer to Kosta's as their favorite fast food restaurant. As a non large chain restaurant, the staff and cooks have been their for years and familiar faces. The variety of entrees should please everyone in your party. I enjoy their burgers, my wife the gyros, and my son the chicken. It is a Palatine favorite!

Chiggy's is a nice local Palatine spot for a quick lunch of hot dog/burgers/gyros.etc. The staff is pleasant, food is good, made quickly and there's plenty of room to sit down. Accidentally left my credit card there once. They found it, called my bank who called me, and I had it back within the hour.

Service and cleanliness was excellent. Food was excellent. If you are getting a special meal deal or a side bag fries, keep in mind that it is a LOT of fries. Easily 3x the size of a typical large fries from other fast food restaurants.

Since 1983, Jimmy Johns has been creating great sandwiches and as a chain they have grown to over 2,700 stores. This Jimmy Johns is located in a small strip mall with plenty of parking. The stores try to locally source as much as possible and everything is fresh. They do try and use all of their French bread within four hours. Some of their sandwiches, i.e. tuna salad, are made fresh and in the house. The staff here is friendly and efficient. Everything is reasonably priced. We decided to split the J.J. Gargantuan with sliced smoked ham, capicola, roast beef, turkey and provolone cheese along with onions, mayo, lettuce, tomato and homemade Italian dressing on a homemade French bun. Two of us were unable to finish the sandwich.
