Not the greatest pizza in the world but if you're in Matamata and looking for something to takeout and eat at home/at the hotel, this is a nice little pizzeria to turn to. The toppings were plentiful and there was LOTS of cheese on the pizzas we ordered. Very tasty. Service was friendly and pizzas were quick.Thankyou Christox for this helpful review, resulting in addressing our cheese per pizza. The outcome is a better product, thankyou again.RegardsParePares Power Pizza

Frequently visited by friends if mine but not my first choice. Chips are Ok, fish is mostly fresh, but avoid the potato fritters which come as wafer thin potato covered in batter; whereas 5mm or 8mm potato fritters can easily be found in other establishments.

Thereâs a range of individual sushi and sushi rolls available at Sen Sushi. They are kept in refrigerated cabinets which mean that theyâre cold; I like sushi at room temperature. Many sushi are cooked, fried or have lots of sugar or mayo which isnât to my taste. They rely heavily on takeaway and single use containers and utensils which is not environmentally friendly. The service is friendly.
Where to eat New Zealand food in Matamata: The Best Restaurants and Bars
So we were looking for some easy food in Matamata on St Paddyâs day which turned out being a little difficult. Eventually we saw this place, a little hole in the wall which turned out to be a hidden gem.My girlfriend is celiac and has a strong distaste for carbs and the people working this evening (I assume it was the owner, her son and other very friendly staff) helped us put together something my girlfriend could eat. Myself I ate enough carbs for the two of us. Can highly recommend this place for great burgers for a fair price.
