I've had fish and chips here several times and they have always been excellent. It's all cooked to order and the fish has been fresh and succulent. The chips are also cooked perfectly. My only gripe is that the service can be poor. I don't see why I should have to wait to be served my haddock while everyone who ordered cod after me gets their meal first, particularly when mine is sat there waiting. Very frustrating!!Grumble aside the food has always been good and it's one of the two takeaways in Headcorn that is actually worth a visit (the other is the kebab shop) the Chinese and the Indian are poor.

I visit the Spar store that this is housed in quite often, so decided to try the Subway. The selection was reasonable, with a good selection of rolls, but the food was very average. In terms of value, this Subway is reasonable, but in terms of quality of food, it's very average and certainly not memorable.

The food from Zen Wok is delicious and the standard of quality never varies, never once been dissapointed. The lady at the counter is always cheerful and helpful and I was surprised after not visiting for a long time once that she instantly remembered me, reckon she even already knew what I would order!
