I have tried several Santa Cruz pizza establishments through the years but always come back to Pizza My Heart. Why? Because it's the best. Its dough and toppings are always fresh and tasty. You can build your own or order from a large array for pizzas cleverly named for local attractions. There is a vegetarian menu also. Pizzas are not cheap but you get what you pay for.

As long as you get what you pay for, it is all good. This is not gourmet food, but when we have hungry labor workers and we have to finish a job, this is our go to place, licated just down the street.

My husbands burger was dryMy fried chicken was undercooked and biscuit was so hard I couldn't eat it the out thing good was drinks and fries.I was so looking forward to eating there and it was very dissapointing. Will not eat there againGreat service Bad cooks! too in a rush that they don't put good quality in the food they prepare.
Fresh. Local. Stoked!! We use local gourmet sausages and got dogs as well as local bread and local Saurkraut and local mustard. Also we use as much local produce as possible to deliver a gourmet experience. Stop by, you'll be stoked or we'll make it again
A great tiny little over-the-counter eatery in Capitola's seaside Village. Sausages from Corralitos Meat Market and bun rolls from Alfaro Bakery. These are both very high quality and local businesses. Local dude done well bringing it on with local purveyors of highest quality meats and bakery products. Spend slightly more than a slice of pizza across the Esplanade from Pizza My Heart, but you will be glad you hung out here instead. Located at the corner of the Mercantile building on San Jose Avenue. Literally just a corner in the wall establishment.
