A newly established family run Turkish and Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Basingstoke.
On the recommendation of a friend, my wife and I popped in for lunch. To sample as many different dishes as possible, we stuck to the starters (tempting as the main course dishes look!)The food was very nice indeed: selection of hummus, breads, olives, aubergine, felafel. Jolly nice.We will certainly be back - in the evening, for a proper blow out!

Côte is inspired by the brasseries of Paris, serving authentic French dishes all day in our classically designed restaurants.
Food was ok although expensive for what it was, service was very average.12.5% servcie charge was added to the bill automatically and don't really think the service justified that. The biggest problem with the restaurant though is the acoustics, I was quite glad to get out - which is a shame.

The Glasshouse Restaurant is a beautifully contemporary 2 AA Rosette Restaurant set amongst the romantic backdrop of the Georgian Estate, Oakley Hall. Although recently refurbished in late 2014, the Glasshouse Restaurant and it's extensive grounds preserv
Perfect location, excellent food, fun waitress ( M ?) from Liverpool went out her way to help and was on hand when we needed her. The food was great value for the quality and was beautifully presented. The Prosecco delicious Lovely crockery and glasses... only down side.. I would have liked a white tablecloth. Worth every penny !

The Oak Room Restaurant gets its name from the rich oak panelling that creates an elegant ambience and the room is crowned with a domed ceiling. Breakfast is taken in the Oak Room Restaurant where you can enjoy beautiful views of the gardens and lawns. Th
this was a birthday treat which unfortunately did not meet expectations. The building and surrounding gardens on approach by car are amazing as is the inside. The table was booked for 8pm so we arrived at 7.30 and were shown through to the lounge bar but sat on the terrace as it was a nice evening.Drinks arrived at 8 and we were told there would be someone to take us to the restaurant by 8.30 we wandered into the restaurant thinking they had forgotten us.The tables at the far end of the Oak room for couples are perhaps too close together as we could hardly hear ourselves over the loud conversation from neighbouring tables and we should probably have asked to move.Although our order was taken on the terrace out first course did not turn up until 9pm with the second course close behind.By 9.30 we really only wanted our bill so skipped pudding and coffee. The food was average at best but not what I had hopped for the best bit was the asparagus foam amuse bouche .
