Reviews on European food in San Antonio, Texas, United States. Step to the beat of wafting flamenco music as you wander the downtown River Walk before sampling as much chili (San Antonio’s signature dish) as your taste buds will allow. A visit to the Alamo is an absolute must, as is taking in a show at the ornate Majestic Theatre. San Antonio Missions National Historical Park is dotted with 18th-century buildings and features, making for an enriching excursion.

Bella was located on the riverwalk for many years but a building renovation moved them up on Houston street. They have more room than before and the food is still as good as ever. They claim they serve Southern European but mostly Mediterranean cusine and there is not a bad thing on the menu. A highly recomended restaurant in downtown San Antonio.

San Antonio is known for The Riverwalk. However, for those that want to find some great European Style Cooking and a quaint restaurant the place to visit is La Frite Belgian Bistro. Glad to see that the food standards and service is excellent. Good Wine Selection and basically just a fun atmosphere.

This has been a fovorite downtown spot for lunch for as long as I can remember which goes back to the 60's. The service is allways great and your choices on the menu allow a large variety. I almost allways start with their Split Pea soup which is as good as that dish gets and then either go with one of the saugage choices or a sandwitch. This location is as popular with us that live downtown as it is with tourists and you can count on a crowd from the courthouse at lunch.Thank you Robert! So glad that you are a regular! We are lucky to count you among our long-time loyal customers. Thanks for posting on TripAdvisor. I will be sure to share your review with our staff. Thanks again.

Welcome to a taste of Bavaria and the historic Oktoberfest, right here in San Antonio! The San Antonio Riverwalk is one of the top tourist attractions in the U.S. Ours is a multicultural city, which includes a strong German heritage. Now you can experienc
The Bier Garten is a great place to get some good German style food and beer. We stopped off for lunch and had a couple of brews to cool off given that it was approximately 100 degrees that afternoon. The service was good given that they were short staffed but Lexy did a great job taking care of us. Go early in the afternoon because it will get packed for the dinner and evening crowd. I would certainly recommend the Bier Garten! Prost!!
