Another Trip advisor win! Looking for a place to go after a meeting, and TripAdvisor clearly had Sabina's near the top of the list. How could we not go?The restaurant itself is small and unassuming; there's a diner type set up inside with basic table and chairs, nothing fancy at all (but bright and very clean!). But don't go for the décor...go for the wonderful food, and the awesome staff! Our server was excellent, friendly, and outgoing during our stay, and our entire party of 3 enjoyed it. The food was excellent. The Dill pickle soup. The Kielbasa. The apple berry crumb cake for dessert (!!!!). All excellent; it's not served on any fancy plates or serving ware, but again...it's all about the food. And the value was excellent; we were pleasantly surprised on the price, given the quality of the food and the portion sizes. Definitely a go-to place in Melvindale!

Marika had fish and I had a noodle dish. Both were unexpectedly good, so I inquired about the origin of the sauces. I was told that they all were made from scratch onsite, even the tarter sauce that came with Marika's fish. Details of the place are Hungarian, right down to the red peppers hung over the door to the kitchen.

I was not overly impressed with this restaurant. The waitress was slow and seemed to have had an attitude. The food was OK, and since I am not Polish nor have I ever been to Poland I can't say if this is "authentic" or not, what I can say is the food is very plain. The place is clean. Parking is right outside the door. Prices are decent. Portions are adequate. I can't really say it was bad, but it certainly didn't ring any bells, at least not for me.

Another great place to eat in Wyandotte ! Teeny spot, limited decor, limited seating, great menu. The name of the restaurant says it all. Read the menu fast, order at the counter. You may then take a seat or stand and watch the preparation process. The food is wonderfully prepared in sight, and brought out to your table. Our meals were delivered hot, attractively presented, and very tasty. This is definitely a must try spot !
