If you like quick, cheap, homestyle (greasy spoon) type dining, you'll like this place. Our orders were taken within 5 min of arrival and served within 10! Food was not bad but nothing great either. Portions not as big as some suggested but we're adequate. Fed 2 for about $21 including tip. Nice folks.If you don't like lumpy booth cushions, 1950's decor (not by design but by age) and horrid restrooms, then you probably should stay away.

Got carry out of 1/2 chicken, mashed potatoes w/gravy, salad, cup of stuffed pepper soup and cheesecake. We let me tell you, this poor chicken was killed twice. First it was bought dead, then cooked!!! It was sooo over cooked, it would not come off the bone, extremely dry!! The mashed potatoes were instant and the gravy was sooo salty it was uneatable!!!! The soup was mainly rice, lacking of flavor!!! The cheesecake was probably a no-bake cheesecake. This was one meal for the garbage!!!! Even the dog would not eat the potatoes and I was afraid she would choke on the dry chicken. I will never go there again!!!! Not worth the $$$. At least my salad was ok....how can u mess up lettuce with a tomato cut up on top? Also had to wait over 30 mins. for a carryout. Was told when I arrived, they ran out of chicken and had to go to their other location to get a serving. So wonder it was so dry, probably warmed up twice. Again, not worth going here...you will leave dissatisfied and hungry!!!

Stopped by to try it out. Well there was 1 table with customers other than us and we still couldn't get service. Finally, our drink order was taken, but not food. Got out drinks and waited 17 mins and got up and left!!!!! Really? The servers were laughing and standing around. When I pass this place it is NEVER busy. Not planning on going back. I think it is another greasy spoon diner. Maybe they ran out of food!

Located just off I-280. Sit anywhere. There are booths, tables and counter seats. Casual atmosphere. The menu includes daily specials and senior specials. There are a lot of Hungarian dishes. I chose perch which came with a choice of potato. I chose the potato casserole and it was excellent, excellent, excellent. Good portion, the perch was delicious. Good friendly, service. Reasonable prices
