This was our first visit to this diner. We really enjoyed eating here. They offered a nice menu- appetizers, drinks, salads, breakfast all day, burgers, dinners, desserts. They get much of their food from local farms. We shared fresh toast on challah bread. In addition I had a fresh fruit cup, hot decaf green tea and my husband orange juice Everything was very fresh and tasty. In addition we had very good service.

I must admit this was our 2nd attempt of the day to find breakfast. The first place had a long wait. It was closing in on noon and it was Valentines Day as well. The GPS led us to Merchantville Diner. We were greeted and seated promptly. Coffee was delivered quickly. After that, not so sure what happened. Our server was extremely nice but just couldn't seem to remember to bring stuff to us. I ordered the a coup,e of eggs with toast and bacon. The toast didn't come out with the meal. I asked for it twice. We needed more cream and tried our darnedest to get anyone to bring it to us. We asked. They'd forget. I am not sure if they were busier than normal or short staffed. I don't want to say the service was bad because they were very attentive. We just couldn't seem to get toast or cream or more coffee when we asked a coup,e of times. The food was good. Nothing to write home about. It was a fairly pleasant experience but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again if I am in the area.

Been here many times. Plenty of parking and prompt seating. Fabulous tomato soup served hot. Place is clean, bright and Quiet. Servers are friendly and most are long term which speaks well of management.I ordered the PQ steak sandwich with extra crisp fries and honey mustard. Fries were perfect and nice and hot. Sandwich is a good size with lots of onions and mushrooms. Even the pickle is great, cold, cris and tangy. Overall I am pleased.
