Sat listening to an incredibly rude woman complaining constantly to the staff when she randomly turned up with over a dozen people including some very loud badly behaved children who we could hear even when we moved to the other side of the room. Throughout it all the staff were patient and respectful to people who really didnât deserve it. Well done Michelle P and the rest. As regular customers we appreciate you all.

We had seen The Shiny Spoon on Facebook a few times so today decided to call in on the off chance for lunch. We managed to eg a table without booking but would book if was in a bigger group. Just me and my 3 year old today. The menu is great. Just the right amount of choice and there is also a âgrown upâ kids menu. Coffee is really good and the kids drinks are served in a really novel fashion. Attention to detail makes a massive difference. Service was fast and friendly and the food really is as good as it looks. Itâs well presented, fresh and good value for money. Will definitely come back.
We went in for Sunday lunch, 6 of us, today. The pub has been redecorated and is a really huge improvement over how it was, it's lovely, clean and bright and geared far more towards cosy family eating than it used to be.The service was super quick and friendly and the food arrived really quickly. As for the food itself, it was hot and completely delicious, clean plates all round and puddings were just as good!We were really impressed. As an aside, my wife and I had popped in for a drink on the previous friday evening. The food people were eating looked really great and the staff were on hand to make sure all tables were spotless and clear. This pub, under new ownership, is a great asset to Mansfield Woodhouse, top stuff!
We are not your typical burger van, we provide high quality restaurant style burgers and breakfasts for takeaway and delivery using only the finest locally sourced ingredients. We are 5 star hygiene rated
I was sceptical when I saw the price list at first as itâs was a bit more expensive in comparison to my usual breakfast place , but the owner assured me everything was high quality with butchers sausages etc. Decided to treat me and the wife to a Kings Banquet Box for £22, owner said its designed as a sharer between 3-4. I thought âweâll seeâ as Im a big bloke with a big appetite, I had 3 full plates and my wife had a full plate too! So would easily feed 4-5 really. The quality was bang on , nothing was wasted and everything was cooked properly and not just chucked in a fryer . They even use butter on the toast and bread not cheap yellow margarine like most places do. Will definitely be returning again , definitely the best place to get breakfast locally 10/10Thank you Dave for both your custom and for taking the time to leave us such an amazing review. We try so hard to deliver a 5 star service so we are thrilled you have met your expectations
