We had a very yummy, hot breakfast (at lunch time) and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The portions are large, biscuits are wonderful and the prices are fair. I love Black Bear Diners and we try to visit any we pass along our trips and vacations. This one is a little hard to find the entrance for. Look for the small sign as you turn the corner.

Gerties is a top knotch brunch establishment. Do not concern yourself with calorie counting, as the scrumptious breakfast plates are all generous portion sizes. It is difficult to put down the silverware: be forewarned! Coupled with the cozy atmosphere and the cordial servers, I envision myself galloping back into Gerties my next time in town!

Elmerâs is really close to the I-5 and makes a perfect stop on a road trip. We came here for breakfast and had the Tillamook and German pancakes. Both were delicious, but be warned that portions are huge. Service was friendly and the restaurant very pleasant. Afternoon,We truly thank you for your feedback and are glad to see you enjoyed your visit to Elmerâs. Hubby and I stopped in for a breakfast and we were not disappointed. My steak and eggs came hot and fast. Hubby has chicken fried steak that was crispy and tasty. This eatery is a classic and Iâve been coming for over forty years. The food is diner friendly. The staff are very chatty and sometimes very noisy but they seem to be having fun Quiet conversation is a challenge and the dining area can be cold in winter. Be advised.
