We frequent the Lake Vu restaurant (at the Co-op gas station) and particularly recommend the walleye dinner and the all-day available hashed-browns with everything, but this was our first Sunday night experience when the long-standing special is prime rib! Roast beef cooked to order, choice of potatoes, steamed veggies, Yorkshire pudding, jus de boeuf and choice of pie for dessert....scrumptious! The only thing that was missing--there was no horseradish sauce. We will definitely come again on a Sunday evening. (I'll pack some horseradish sauce in my purse.)

I asked my mom to go here one day for lunch and neither of us knew what to expect of this little whole in the wall. It's very good food, big portions, and good prices! The service is great as well. Have returned numerous times since the first visit!
My husband and i went there for breakfast with our kids. Very quick service, our food was brought out almost immediately after we ordered. Our food was ice cold! Tasted like they pre made a bunch of everything off the menu and just let it sit back there until someone ordered it. It was definitely not made at the time we ordered it. It would of been a good price, if it came with a HOT meal.. We won't be going back.

We had heard that a lot of people go to the curling club for breakfast or lunch. It is open from 7am to 2pm daily. The food is what I would describe as home cooking...big servings, fresh and a good price. Service is small town friendly and you probably would never hear of the place if you weren't local or were visiting local friends and family.
