This is a great, unassuming little spot to stop while on the road, with easy access from the interstate, but serving lots of locals. We had excellent fried catfish, which was nicely cornmeal-breaded, and the grilled ham and cheese, which, while simple, probably tops anything your mom made for you. They offer the full bacon, eggs and pancakes menu as well as burgers, hot dogs, shrimp, chicken sandwich, Philly, and chili. Great prices too.N.B., They close after lunch, and whether it's a pro or a con for you, they have a smoking section.

Brittany was our waitress. Sat at counter. Food was served quickly. Usual, solid quality breakfast you get at Waffle House. Easy access off on interstate. Unfortunately, getting back on was a bit of a hassle due to construction.

If camping nearby, this is a great market close by to Canal Campground. They had just about everything we needed to stock up during our stay. There is also a small liquor store right next door for those that like there delicious evening beverage. The store personnel were very nice and helpful.

With few restaurants in the Ledbetter & Smithland area, this new place is really welcome.Freshly built and very clean with crossroads community atmosphere.The server and cashier obviously knew all coffee and breakfast groups, calling each person by name.Service was prompt & polite and my meal was good and hot.Their coffee is the best around.
