One of my favorite Denver-area restaurants, Steuben's does not disappoint. It's basically up-scale diner food, but it's done so right. Their Nashville hot chicken was just as good â if not better (sorry Nashville) than what I had this summer. Plus, they do breakfast all day and have homemade Choco Tacos. This restaurant has a home town, neighborhood feel to it. Nothing fancy but cozy and comfortable. Our server was very pleasant and she treated us well. We didn't have to wait long for anything. The food is hot and abundant but just average in taste. Our omelettes were tasty but a little on the greasy side. The prices were more than reasonable.

I was hesitant to give this spot a try after reading some of the reviews. I'm glad I did. I would give it 4.5. The burger is thin, but so are freddy's and other popular trendy places. This is not a trendy place. It is old school, with the neon to prove it. While old, it was reasonably clean, 50's music playing and the staff was fairly friendly.
