Fantastic - the real thing - great location (accessible by foot or on skis) gorgeous view with the sunset, friendly and professional service, good prices, fab houseband - when we were there there was a surprise duo on stage as well, famous Swedish singers - in their skiwear, how cool and relax isn't that? Everybody singing along - only good ol' hits, mostly English, dance (some on tables) and also great finger food. Barmen are two French guys, fun and cool, waitresses quick friendly - all in all has the international service level one so often doesn't deliver in Sweden. Upstairs they've built a huge bar, sitting areas, you can have groups, teams, business groups here for private events - we just LOVED the place! From upstairs you're like on first row looking down at the stage, through the window wall - to the sunset. Can't imagine how beautiful this will be even in summer when you can sit and eat outside.Thank you Gunnel! We are pleased to hear that your visit was good and the experience exceeded your expectation. Welcome back!Yours truly / Team à rehyddan.

We tried this place after being leafleted several times at our rental apartment as menu looked good. Shame there was not a map on the leaflet flyer as quite hard to find as situated at the bake of other buildings, also had scaffolding up and the sign is in red not the blue of flyer. But we were glad we did find it as it has a lovely quirky alpine cosy feel and great views over the frozen lake, valley and mountains. The night we visited there was only pizza to choose from but they were all very good.(very Italian authentic) Staff were friendly and helpful.
We were a group travelling up to base camp. In order to not appear as a big surprise to staff - we pre-ordered food and specified each order. So to our surprise - they had closed the food service before we got up there...... due to weather conditions earlier. However they never closed the gondola and we all came up to just turn around and go back down - in order to find Lunch somewhere else. So as a group - we paid SEK 5,000 to get to the top - just to turn around and go back down again. My point is: They knew we were coming for lunch - and they knew they closed the kitchen. Why couldn't they send a message to the ticket office that could stop us from coming up there for Lunch?
