I have never gotten anything here that wasn't delicious. Lake Varsity Diner has the best fish sandwiches around. The staff is great, too!
I've been a fan for years now and I think it's because of the bun. I mean let's face it cold cuts and cheese are pretty much the same at all sub shops so what's left to distinguish yourself from the rest of the pack, yep the bun and they bake their own.To me they just taste a little better than other places. And yes their freeky fast delivery is really freeky fast, unless you live outside the 5 minutes drive circle then they won't deliver which is a bummer. That's why I only gave 4 instead of 5 because I live 30 seconds outside the 5 minute circle.
We have two in Hartville but the one at the plaza wins big. Of course, good service. But they make the sandwiches best and fresh. Love it, Love it, Love it.

My son and I went in following the lunch rush. By now most places are over people and are not the most friendly. This experience was nothing like that! Everyone behind the counter was so friendly and talkative. It wasnât the fake friendly either, it was genuine and sincere. They talked to my son and made jokes with him. They made the experience even better for us as first timers! The sandwichâs are so good! Fresh veggies and toasted perfectly! Tons of options to chose from! I canât wait to go back and try a new one! Definitely filling!
