My wife took me to this new franchise in Solon, Ohio. The only thing I knew about Jimmy John's was from their commercials which bragged about how fast they served their food. We were not disappointed. From the time we ordered we had time to fill our drinks and sit down and our sandwiches were called quickly. The restaurant states they are gourmet sandwiches, while I would say they are easily a few steps above Subway, I would stop short of gourmet. I had roast beef which tasted very fresh and had no issues with any of the food we had. This place is very tight with only four tables and a small bar with a couple of stools facing the far wall so it's not a place to go guarantee a seat during lunch or dinner rush. The staff kept the place looking clean and I noticed the trash being removed as well as the small dining room being cleaned a couple of times while we were there.Jimmy John's offers catering as well as online ordering. Ordering online gives you the ability to peruse the menu and order exactly how you want it and you will have it waiting when you arrive.

If you like delis, this is your place. The menu is full of traditional jewish dishes, from brisket to cold cuts to borscht and matzah ball soup. Think of what you would find in a traditional ny deli, and this is better. Loved the wording on the menu, and the way the staff talks about the food. We had the hot dogs, brisket, pastrami, burger, blinzes and eclair. Portions are big, so be ready. If you like delis, this is worth going out of your way for.... Definately will be back.

A small family owned cafe with great freshly made hot and cold deli sandwiches. Pretty small place and only open during lunch, so plan accordingly.

We have eaten here on several occasions over the past few years. Most of the time the food has been very good. On one occasion during Lent we had the fried fish special. It was awful. It came out very mushy as if it had been cooked too long. Tonight we stopped again for dinner. As we walked past the front of the building we could see through the window that there were 5 open tables in the middle section of the restaurant. One inside the hostess told us that we would have to wait until there was an open booth. We weren't offered a table in the middle section. We walked out!! It was very apparent that the middle section wasn't being used by a large party or group. She just didn't want to wear is there. Will not be going back any time soon!!!Hi Szwolinski, So sorry to hear you didn’t have a great experience at our restaurant! We felt awful when you left last night. The kitchen had just received so many orders/tickets at once the tickets were hanging down to the floor. Also, we don’t typically seat a small party at a large table, but sure would’ve if we knew you didn’t want to wait for a smaller table. I’m usually up front to greet you, but had to go help the cooks when they got so busy. As far as our beer battered fish fry, during lent & year round we often have a line at the door it’s so popular. Wish you would’ve alerted us to your fish so we could’ve remade it for you! :(.. When we get too many orders at once, the cook might overload the fryer & the oil temp drops causing some to be less crisp. I order mine extra crispy. Hope you’ll give us another try. Ask for me, Joe. I’d love to serve you our delicious food!!
