Rye and bourban made on site. Some unique drinks. Food is well prepared and tasty - my wife especially liked the brussel sprouts and duck leg. I tried the lollipop chicken but thought it a bit tough. Service was friendly and efficient. And a true hunt theme with the antique shotguns and preserved animals. Thanks for visiting The Hunt Room and sharing your experience with us. We will pass along the feedback to our culinary team. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

We went with our ladies' group for lunch at Becca. We ate in the sun-room which was very light and airy although mid-lunch it was very noisy with the high ceilings. Our service was very good and attentive for our group of 9--which can be a challenge at times, we know. Our meals were very good and we enjoyed our lunch out. One lady mentioned that her BLT had very crunch crust and therefor she could not finish it. My steak sandwich with fries was very tender and tasty. The salads looked fresh.Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a pleasant review! We are so pleased that you and your guests enjoyed your day out together. We will pass along your feedback to our team and hope to see you all back at Becca soon!Kind regards, Breanna Hoch

My wife actually discovered this eating venue through her Google phone search engine. The criteria she used was restaurants nearby to our location. Several options came up and we opted for the one that was the shortest walking distance from our hotel. We arrived shortly before they opened and once the doors opened we were warmly welcomed. We were asked if we had made reservations and after stating we had not, were promptly led towards the outdoor dining area.As we made our way through the restaurant’s interior seating area it was noticeable that the ambiance was very subdued and low lit which accentuate the understated sophistication. The décor was stylish and modern and denoted the level of service and authentic chef prepared culinary creations. Our outdoor seating area was fine with the only distraction being the parking lot was outside the fenced in area. Undeterred we looked forward to this new Virginia Beach dining experience. Our server was attentive and very forthcoming regarding his appetizer, drink, and entree recommendations. We initially ordered drinks and began considering not only his recommendations but the offerings listed on the menu. He returned with our drinks, asked if we had any questions then took our appetizer and entree orders. While waiting for our dinner selections we were entertained by a family several tables away that included a young couple with a young impetuous child and grandparents/in-laws. My wife and I both agreed that this dining venue probably wouldn’t be the first choice with little ones (young children/grandchildren). It also reminded us when we had young children and the limited fine dining options available to effectively manage child damage control. The meatballs with fresh mozzarella (fresh Hereford ground beef with herbs and spices finished with tomato ragout) appetizer was exceptional and gave us a preview of what was yet to come. Refreshing our drinks (and continuing to watch the young couple with the impulsive child wrecking havoc) our entrées arrived. My wife ordered the NY Strip Steak and Fries (14oz Mills family farm NY Strip, pomme frites (German for French Fries) tossed with bacon lardons, pickles, white cheddar curds, black truffle, zin gravy, and served with house) and I ordered the grilled tuna ‘bulgolgi’ leek and kimchi fried rice, wakame and cucumber salad, with the house miso sabayon. The presentation was exceptional, the meal expertly prepared and the culinary experience marvelous. In the end the food, atmosphere, and service was worth the upscale prices given this level of wonderfully prepared cuisine and attentive service.

First off our server was great. Her name was Chelsea and my 7-year old said she was the best he ever had in his whole life. Lol. This was our first time coming here but the menu and story behind it looked so good we knew we had to try it. Good, wholesome food without a lot of junk. That’s for us. They did not disappoint. Everything tasted good. Kind of questioned the Mac and cheese and if the cheese and or milk was expiring when it was made but overall I can’t complain. Dessert was also off the chart sounded good on the menu. Didn’t look as good when it came but it tasted great. Only 3 desserts to choose from so they make it easy. This will be our go to food place when we are local here. We are happy to hear Chelsea was able to make your visit wit us special. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We cannot wait to see you next time you are in town!
