Went with my wife and son on our trip to the Quebec Eastern Townships and Quebec City. This restaurant is in the older part of town close to downtown. The restaurant was deco with lots of beautiful paintings that all have prices next to them. We order two tasting menu and one duck breast. From the tasting menu, we have crab meat, ribs, veal, pork belly, pork cheek, duck egg, goat cheese and dessert. We love the duck breast too. Their platings were beautiful. We also have tasting of 3 different wine from France, Italy and Spain. The desserts were tasty.

I went with my friends yesterday. Food was ok. but apparently overpriced. The service,if they actually had one, was terrible. We were two and stopped by for a quick dinner, without a reservation. The service guy refused to seat us at a table without any explanation, when the whole restaurant was almost empty with only one table occupied. We sat at the bar and natutally waited for a menu. But it didn't come. So i asked if I could have one. The server pointed at the blackboard and said that was all they had to offer, as if everybody should have known that they don't have paper menus. And then he asked:"you don't speak French and do you understand English?" Yes I do speak French, not much but enough to handle a menu. And all our previous conversations were in English so i really wasn't sure if i understood english or not. After that we ordered a porchetta and a steak, both were ok but clearly not worth the $. Meanwhile the server/bartender made himself a cocktail and chilled a bit. Even after we finished, the place was still half empty. I asked why i couldn't just sit at the tables. The guy was like, oh we had reservations and you should have told me that you were here for a quick meal. It would be nicer if you asked? All in all, this place is a weird combination of fancy smokehouse and cheap bar. The hipster servers clearly have a issue of clarifying their job responsibilities.Won't come back again.

I ate here with a small group of colleagues, and loved it. Our waitress was brilliant - friendly, warm and efficient. The atmosphere is nice - good lighting, intimate feeling - great vibe. Really loved the food - gnocci was delicious. We were recommended to have 2 to 3 plates each - 2 was more than enough. Not your standard sharing tapas style - most of us just ate our own - but still very social and a good buzz. Best food I have had in Sherbrooke.
