The Terrace Bar & Restaurant is open to everyone, every day from 10am until late for everything from coffee to lunches, afternoon tea, drinks and dinner with a side of sea views. With decking and a conservatory with a retractable roof for sun drenched day
Well it would have been an excellent view if it hadn’t been raining heavily! But that aside, we had a table in the outside terrace ( don’t worry it is enclosed so you won’t get wet) and we were happy with the service and the food. The chairs were a little hard but providing a blanket at each table for cold legs etc is a nice touch. We all chose fish and chips and were not disappointed. It was busy but then it was raining. This restaurant is open to all but actually sits in the Gael an Mor holiday complex. Although you could walk to the beach, the walk up may be a bit ambitious for most so recommend a car. There is car park but it’s not huge.
This was so nice and everything was made fresh and with the diary milk. Eton mess cake and ices cream was to die for.

Our Sunny spacious Patio provides a haven with views of Wheal Friendly Engine house. There is a large public car with plenty of parking almost opposite Q. Free WIFI and Wheelchair access.
Myself & my husband recently visited Cafe Q on a Sunday for breakfast, following friends recommendations. We both had the Cafe Q full breakfast with a coffee & orange juice. We were pleasantly surprised the coffee included with the breakfast includes any type of coffee with no additional charges. The breakfast itself was cooked really well, being fresh & not too much (although I'm sure you could ask for extra sausages & bacon from the 2 of each given if you wanted more). The staff were really friendly & welcoming. Overall a lovely friendly cafe to start your day with excellent value breakfasts. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully chilled beach hut style café with a large and very relaxing Japanese style garden. Healthy breakfasts and lunches, alongside the best coffee and cakes!
I am a local and seen Genki on social media and knew I hat to try it, and at last I have, it was lovely, staff are great, food was delicious and the garden is so pretty. I will most certainly be going back soon..
