Located within the centre of Nottingham, this is a great restaurant for friends or families. It has a wide menu of traditional British food and is a great place for tourists to sample British dishes in a casual environment. Having booked, we were seated in a beach shack style booth with subdued lighting, this would be ideal for somewhere romantic. The cottage pie was delicious!HiWhat lovely and kind words about Georges. Saturday lunch with the girls - came back again after first visiting last May when we really enjoyed the experience.We were equally as impressed this time. Friendly welcome by all the staff and everybody goes out of their way to help you. Great selection of drinks and very extensive wine list.The whipped butter is gorgeous as is the bread (after sampling three pieces I felt I was a fair judge!).The three course set lunch menu is really good value, and has some great choices. The crab starter was divine and the blade of beef main was truly melt in the mouth. White chocolate parfait to finish and then a cheeky plate of cheese and biscuits to share with a port tasting selection! All really good and I would thoroughly recommend.We had a table booked at 1pm and didnât leave until 4pm and at no point felt rushed to move on. Itâs a great restaurant with some gorgeous food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.
