Perched above the city near the castle, this cafe is worth a visit. We went twice, 10 days apart, and the cafe was full both times. Best to book! The menu changes regularly, the food is delicious, both traditional and modern, and the service excellent. Easy to park too.

Early dinner, 7pm, good food, good service. Local food was superb ( pork ribs) pizza was ok, risoto and soup was OK, burger was very good. Drinks was good, service quick. Happy again. Price for 4 people cxa 45 euro, incl. soft drinks.
a five minute walk into the local neighborhood from the mall. you will not find this place without either having local knowledge or will need gps. Not because it is hard to navigate to, but because you are traveling into what seems the local neighborhood. We love places like these. Locals know this is a great place and it is busy daily with the locals. Four course meals and you might pay $8 for your meal. Had an excellent meatball for a starter, then mushroom soup, goolash was my main course and an excellent desert. The menu changes daily with I think four options daily. If you want local food in a local neighborhood, we recommend this Hajovna highly
a very good Slovak cuisine restaurant with also catering service, very reasonable prices, very popular at lunch not so at dinner, but a lot better of what you put on top of your list of restaurants of Nitra (like Palladium or Boccacio) !!
Very good pizza, very good food: it delivers what it promises. The traditional Slovak food is excellent, even if a bit interpreted into a modern way. Limited selection of dessert. It is mainly a lunch restaurant (because it is in the wholesale/industrial part of Nitra). Do not be surprise if at dinner you are the only client: this restaurant is probably the no.1 in Nitra in the business of take-away and home delivery of dinners. However, the foods is always vary good, lunch and dinner.
