I am sure you enjoyed the artistic work delivered by the chef and the quality of the taste goes even way over the look! There is not one single course not hitting the best mark, all was simply perfect, we had no comment whatsoever about the whole experience!A quick word about the place itself, it is beautifully decorated, three main rooms and the building itself is gracious and outstanding.Next time, no doubt, I will go for the water selection just to try it, we had a couple of spiced waters and woaw, discovery again, matching so well with the dishesâ¦they definitely have resources. It is like their garden where they grow their own vegetables that you also can see in your plateâ¦One little thing though but I know they are working on it, not enough rooms available to sleep over⦠I booked the evening in October for mid-February and I had to go to a B&B nearby but as I had to drive, I only drank one glass of wine.Dear Serge, Thank you so much for your comment. This is really meaningful for us. We are happy you enjoyed your time there and to know that we will welcome you another time. About the rooms, we have now 11 so we do our best to welcome our guests for a sleep over as well :)Sincerely

Led by the young chef Carl Gillain, the Agathopède takes its name from a brotherhood from Namur, ancient and secret of the 19th century approached innovations in the old kitchen, of which was part of the illustrious Félicien Rops and the nobility of the t
We went on a Saturday evening after having booked a table on tripadvisor and having received an email and an sms to confirm the reservation. When we arrived, the boy at the reception desk started scrolling with the eyes the reservations list but our name wasn't there. I showed him the confirmation of the reservation on my smartphone ... the guy seemed lost...he acknowledged our reservation that was even confirmed in written via email and sms but he did not know what to do as the place was visibly fully booked. Then he went to, i guess, the restaurant manager who came to us and said " we never received your reservation " - then i showed to him the email and the sms confirming the reservation and so - he said "it's your problem as you haven't received an email from us but from tripadvisor". I said "you have a contract with Tripadvisor and you ask them to take reservation for your restaurant on their site, why should i pay the consequence if something went wrong there?" Same answer from the guy..."not our problem"At this point no need to further discuss as it was clear that the guy would not have moved a finger for us then we went out from the restaurant and a minute after...we received an email and an sms stating that reservation was cancelled!! Can you believe it? Restaurant certainly realised of the booking at that moment but - to justify a formal complain to tripadvisor - that in such a case, we learned after, can decide to eliminate the restaurant from the site - just cancelled on the spot the reservation.Well, we couldn't taste their food however we taste their honesty and no regret as i can't imagine what is behind a nice looking dish, when is prepared by people with this level of integrity.Dear Sir, we understand your disappointment and it certainly influences your review, but Tripadvisor acknowledged a problem in its communication of bookings. We are absolutely not responsible for the error and our staff was extremely courteous with you. We hope to see you soon in good conditions. The Agathopede

Vegetal inspiration ... A kitchen that wants to be modern ... closer to nature ... raw product ... The vegetable holds a privileged place ... we offer seasonal vegetables, grown in our kitchen garden, herbs and wildflowers to sublimate everything ... but
