Casual Dining in a Family Friendly Atmosphere Proudly Serving Only Vermont Made Spirits Beers and Wines
Wednesday night is burger night here plus a draft tasting at $2.00 for an 8 Oz (approximately) glass of any 4 drafts. Good deal for the beer. We had no interest in burgers and ordered off the regular menu. My companion had the fish & chips and I had a Montreal steak with mashed potatoes & carrots. The sides were good. The steak was extremely salty. Shame because it was perfectly cooked and tender. My companions liked her fish even with its strange appearance. The batter was dark; a sign of old oil in the fryolator or over cooking. I tried it and i agreed it wasnât bad. The fries were the same dark color as the fish, not crispy and greasy. My companion liked the coleslaw very much. I had the molten lava cake for dessert. It was tough and chewy as if it had been microwaved for too long. I think 3 stars is generous. There were hits & misses. Another visit is a âmaybeâ We had maple wings for an appetizer. They were amazing!!Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and rating. I apologize that we did not meet your expectations. While we are certainly not perfect, we have been fortunate to provide more positive experiences than negativeOur Montreal steak has course salt in the seasoning blend. My apologies that is was too salty for your taste. We certainly could have prepared another steak had we known. Our Fish and Chips is extremely popular and this is the first I have heard of a "strange appearance", so I will need to do some research. I am glad your companion enjoyed her meal despite its' appearanceOur hand cut fries generally garner rave reviews. It is my hope that this was a one off misstep.I offer no excuse for the lava cake as it seems we over cooked it. I am glad you enjoyed our signature wings.Again, thank you for your feedback, should you change your mind regarding a return visit, please reach out to me personally so that I can make arrangements.

Great old fashioned country store / restaurant combo in a little village about 4 miles from Bromley Mountain with delicious modern food.We stopped in for lunch. Good menu and great food and service. We shared an excellent freshly prepared, well topped pizza - one of the best we've had in a long time. Also saw the sandwiches and burgers coming out and all looked amazing. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Weston is a not a large town and the Inn at Weston has been the go to place for sophisticated dining for many years. It is beautifully decorated, with pleasant artwork and the piano player is a nice added touch. There is a limited wine list and traditional fare. There was an eclectic bread plate and nicely sweetened butter. The onion soup was excellent and the crispy duck entrée was very good. If you are staying at the Inn or if you are part of the well-healed retired crowd which often makes the fall pilgrimage to rural Vermont and desire a leisurely dinner, you will not be disappointed. It will not, however, appeal as much to a younger clientele. Someone named Bob introduced himself. Not sure if he was the manager, owner or a patron, although one can draw a conclusion. So here is where the experience fell flat. Service. The restaurant was not busy, yet we waited for virtually everything. We overheard another tableâs waiter describe dishes very differently than our own. There was either no teamwork amongt the servers or they were not happy with each other. We left our credit card on the table for 15 minutes while we attempted to get the attention of our server. The other server passed our table five times with the card showing. All he needed to do was inform the other server, but he chose not to. . It affected the quality of our experience and my view on its value. .
