Booked a reservation for two and it was well worth it. We started with bread and oils before bring out the Amuse Bouche (The taste of the chef). Then we ordered the scallops appetizer and they were cooked perfectly. We recieved a palate cleanser (mango sorbet) before the main course...mud crab and red snapper. I ordered the rum creme bruleee for dessert and it did not disappoint. Before we left, we were given after dinner chocllates...homemade and delectable. A very nice experience.

We sat at the bar and enjoyed cocktails and dessert. The cocktails were great, as was the creme brulee with berry sorbet. The staff were magnificent, but it all came with a high price tag. The expression "tourist trap" was coined for this very establishment. Ripped off is an understatement. Having been to Fiji 5 times and visited MANY local restaurants, in other towns, and found them to be wonderful, this was a real shock and I wish I had read the previous reviews before we stopped here with a hangry group. A lesson in Fiji time as one meal arrived fairly fast, next 2 meals arrived at least 30 minutes later, two more appeared about 15 minutes later with the final 2 meals arriving approx. 70 mins after ordering. The Fijian fish curry at $29.95 FJ was in a bowl the size of a shot glass with 3 small pieces of fish (the sauce was delicious but there wasn't enough of anything). Then the price!!!!!! Lunch for 7 + 7 beers and 2 soft drinks was $246FJ. The menu prices do not include the 19% tax - so remember to add that on your expected bill. Concern about the number of people on the balcony at any given time - beware as the place is falling down. The one redeeming feature was the lovely cool breeze from the river however I'm not sure the breeze was worth the cost and disappointment of diners who Le still hungry.
